The carry screener and rate differential analysis are analytical frameworks — they do not constitute trade signals or recommendations. A wide rate differential in a favorable volatility regime does not mean a carry trade will be profitable. Currencies can and do move for reasons unrelated to rate differentials, including geopolitical events, risk sentiment shifts, and central bank intervention.

Data Accuracy

Rate data sourced from the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) API is updated automatically and is generally accurate. All other rates are sourced from the operator-maintained data manifest and may lag official decisions by several days. Rates marked verified: false in the underlying data are approximate and have not been independently confirmed against the originating central bank publication.

Inflation figures used for real rate computation are approximations based on the most recently available CPI data at the time of the last manifest update. CPI data typically lags by 30–60 days. Real rate figures should be treated as indicative, not precise.

Next meeting dates are maintained in the data manifest and may not reflect schedule changes, extraordinary meetings, or unscheduled decisions. 4xForecaster makes no representation that meeting dates are accurate or complete.
