Disclaimer & Risk Disclosure
Read this in full before using any 4xForecaster content. It is binding.
Effective Date: April 27, 2026
This Disclaimer & Risk Disclosure is a binding part of the agreement between you and 4xForecaster (operated by Dr. David Alcindor). By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these disclosures in full.
1. Educational Publication; No Advice; No Signals
4xForecaster is an independent publisher of macro-driven directional-bias commentary on the U.S. dollar and major currencies. 4xForecaster is NOT a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, retail foreign exchange dealer, introducing broker, commodity pool operator, commodity trading advisor, NFA member, or fiduciary of any kind. Dr. David Alcindor is a U.S.-based independent proprietary trader; he is not registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the National Futures Association, or any state securities authority.
All content published through the Service — including the public dashboard, public articles (including the Macro-to-FX Transmission Series), G-7 Membership content, G-20 + Exotics Membership content, social-media posts, dashboards, charts, models, and any commentary — is general, impersonal, and educational in nature. It is made available to all subscribers within a given tier on a regular schedule.
It is not personalized investment advice. It is not a trade signal. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise transact in any security, currency pair, futures contract, option, contract for difference, exchange-traded fund, or other financial instrument. It is not a solicitation or offer to enter into any transaction.
Directional bias, scenario analysis, and macro outlooks are analytical viewpoints based on publicly available information. They are not entry prices, exit prices, stop-loss levels, position sizes, or actionable orders. You alone are responsible for any trading or investment decision you make. Before acting on any information, you should consult a licensed financial professional appropriate to your jurisdiction and personal circumstances.
2. High-Risk Warning: Foreign Exchange and Leveraged Instruments
TRADING FOREIGN EXCHANGE, FUTURES, OPTIONS, CONTRACTS FOR DIFFERENCE, AND OTHER LEVERAGED FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS CARRIES A HIGH LEVEL OF RISK AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL INVESTORS. The high degree of leverage available in these markets can work for you and against you. Before deciding to trade, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, financial resources, and risk appetite.
You may sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment, and in some cases more than your initial deposit. You should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with foreign-exchange trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
Risks include, without limitation: market risk, leverage risk, counterparty and broker risk, liquidity risk, gap risk, slippage, execution failure, technology failure, exchange or platform outage, regulatory and legal risk, geopolitical risk, currency-control risk, settlement risk, and risks specific to exotic currencies (illiquidity, capital controls, sudden devaluation, settlement-system failure).
3. Past Performance
PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT NECESSARILY INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS. Markets are inherently uncertain. Any reference to past calls, prior directional biases, historical examples, illustrative trades, or model outputs is for educational purposes only. No representation is being made that any subscriber will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to any results discussed. 4xForecaster does not maintain a verified, audited track record.
4. Hypothetical and Simulated Performance
To the extent any content on the Service references hypothetical, simulated, illustrative, or back-tested performance results:
HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN INHERENT LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE THE RESULTS SHOWN IN AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, THESE RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, BECAUSE THESE TRADES HAVE NOT ACTUALLY BEEN EXECUTED, THESE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER- OR OVER-COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED OR HYPOTHETICAL TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THESE BEING SHOWN.
5. Conflict of Interest: The Author Trades the Same Markets
IMPORTANT — DISCLOSED CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Dr. David Alcindor is a U.S.-based independent proprietary trader who actively trades the same currencies, currency pairs, futures contracts, options, exchange-traded funds, contracts for difference, and other instruments that are discussed in 4xForecaster commentary, dashboards, articles, and social-media posts.
Dr. Alcindor and any contributors, employees, or affiliates of 4xForecaster may at any time hold long or short positions in those instruments. Such positions may be opened, increased, decreased, hedged, or closed before, during, or after the publication of related content. Position direction may differ materially from any directional bias, scenario, or analytical viewpoint expressed in any specific publication. The author is not obligated to update content to reflect changes in his positions.
This disclosed conflict is intentional and structural: 4xForecaster's analytical framework is informed by the author's own trading. Subscribers should weigh this conflict when evaluating any commentary. No publication should be relied upon as a recommendation.
6. Source Data: Third-Party APIs
The Service uses publicly available data obtained from third-party sources, including without limitation the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis ("FRED") economic-data API and Yahoo Finance market-data API. These data are republished as received. 4xForecaster does not independently verify, audit, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any third-party data, and disclaims all liability for any errors, omissions, latency, downtime, or revisions in such data. Subscribers should consult primary sources before relying on any data point for trading purposes.
7. Forward-Looking Statements
Certain content on the Service constitutes forward-looking statements, including discussions of expected interest-rate paths, anticipated currency moves, projected economic outcomes, or scenario analyses. Forward-looking statements are based on assumptions and analytical judgments that may prove incorrect. Actual market events, opportunities, and results may differ materially from those reflected in or contemplated by such statements. 4xForecaster undertakes no obligation to update any forward-looking statement.
8. Regulatory Status
The Service is structured to operate within the publisher exemption under CFTC Rule 4.14(a)(9), 17 C.F.R. § 4.14(a)(9), and the publisher's exclusion from the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 under § 202(a)(11)(D) as construed in Lowe v. SEC, 472 U.S. 181 (1985). 4xForecaster does not provide commodity trading advice based on or tailored to any particular subscriber's positions, circumstances, or characteristics; does not accept discretionary authority over any client account; does not accept subscriber funds for trading or pooled investment; and does not operate as a bona-fide investment adviser to individual subscribers.
9. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Availability
While we use reasonable care in preparing content, we do not guarantee, warrant, or represent that any content is accurate, complete, current, or timely. Markets move continuously; published views may become stale, contradicted by new information, or revised without notice. The Service may be subject to interruptions. Your sole remedy for any service interruption is to cancel your subscription.
